Student Wellness Center
Washington Wellness Center
Did you know that Washington Middle School has a Wellness Center providing free health care to all students regardless of students insurance or ability to pay?
We provide both medical care and mental health counseling. Services include: sports physicals immunizations, treatment for illness, health education and more.
Our team includes a Nurse Practitioner, Mental Health Counselor, Health Educator and an Office Coordinator. To access services, please complete the registration packet which is sent home to parents at the beginning of the school year. Extra packets are available in the Wellness Center.
The Wellness Center’s goals are to provide early detection and treatment of illness, encourage students to live positive healthy lifestyles and to enhance family communication around health issues. We work collaboratively with teens, their family/guardian, the school and our community.
Referrals to community resources are available as needed. This includes referrals for health insurance, drug and alcohol treatment, mental health care and chronic illness care.
For more information, contact the Wellness Center at (206) 568-3327.
The Wellness Center is open during the school year from 8:30 am-3:45 pm.
The Wellness Center is sponsored by Kaiser Permanente in partnership with Public Health—Seattle King County. School-based health centers are provided in part by voters of Seattle through the Families and Educational Levy.
