Green Team
Our environmental club, the Green Team, will meet every Wednesday/Thursday morning from 8:15 to 8:45 AM in the cafeteria. Beyond environmental stewardship, participation in the Green Team helps students develop essential skills including leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. Students will gain confidence, build meaningful connections with peers, and discover their capacity to create positive change.
Throughout the year, students will work on a variety of impactful projects, including:
- Cafeteria recycling initiatives
- Classroom cleanup protocols
- Planting and maintaining school gardens
- Possible adopt-a-street community service events
Student-Led Lunch Clubs
Students have the chance to share their interests by leading a Lunch Club or develop a new hobby by joining one. Students can sign up in the library for the following 1st semester clubs:

Prismatic Identities Alliance
Formerly known as the GSA, the Prismatic Identities Alliance is a club geared toward building community and allyship for the LGBTQIA+ community at Washington Middle School. This year, the PIA will meet in the library during lunch on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
