    HOST Frequently Asked Questions:

    Q. What HOST clubs are offered?
    A. A list of HOST clubs is included in the registration packet.

    Q. I turned in my child’s form. When can they start?
    A. Students cannot attend HOST the same day they return their form. Parks staff need at least two days to confirm student schedules and two weeks to confirm students are routed on the activity bus.  Your child will first receive a yellow letter at school confirming their HOST club and bus schedule, then they may begin attending HOST.

    Q. Does my child need to attend HOST 4 days a week?
    A. Students may register for 1 day or 4 days of HOST programming, that choice is up to the student and their family. However, the more days a young person is engaged afterschool, the greater their chance for academic success in school!

    Q. I want to sign my kids up, but they may not come every week. Is that okay?
    A. Students must have consistent attendance at HOST. All clubs will be working on group projects that are most successful if a student attends regularly. Please keep this in mind when registering, and support your child in attending HOST consistently!

    Q. My child can only attend a music program one day a week, do we still need to pay $300?
    A. All music programs meet twice a week for a cost of $300 per student. If your child will only attend one of those days, you may pay $150.
