    The WMS Racial Equity Team, with members from our staff, families, and community, is dedicated to making a school where every student thrives academically and socially in a supportive environment.

    The RET was established to ensure that Washington Middle School contributes to the Seattle Public School’s goals of educational and racial equity throughout the city.     At WMS we work to bring quality anti-racist and culturally informed training to the staff, and to bring family and student voice to the table. Everyone is welcome to participate in this vital work!
