    Good evening, Washington Families

I hope you have enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend.

Staff really enjoyed their student-led conferences with you this week. Thank you for participating in this important presentation of your student's learning. Thanks also to the PTSA and those families who contributed to staff lunch and breakfast.

We want to extend a huge congratulations to our Advanced Choir for an awesome, two song performance at today's Seattle Men's Choir show at McCaw Hall. It was awesome to see our kids up on the big stage.

Come to the Next PTSA Meeting TOMORROW NIGHT!: PTSA General meeting, 6:30-8:30 pm – Hear guest speaker LaKesha Kimbrough on “What if Every Child Knew They Could Succeed?” and be part of a discussion on the future of WMS. FREE dinner! Free child care (ages 5-12). This is also a great opportunity to stop by the Lost and Found racks in the cafeteria.

Spirit Week Starts Tomorrow!: Encourage your student to show their spirit while sticking to the dress code policy. Here are this week's dress themes:
    Monday/Tomorrow, 4/1: Pajama Day
    Tuesday, 4/2: Bright Color Day
    Wednesday, 4/3: Twin Day
    Thursday, 4/4: Fictional Character Day
Friday, 4/5: School Colors & Gear Day

We will have an Athletics Recognition Assembly and Music & Dance at the end of the day on 4/5.

Spring Break Begins 4/6: A reminder that school will be closed for the Spring Break vacation at the close of school on Friday. Enjoy the break!

We look forward to seeing your student tomorrow.
    Your Washington Family
