    Seattle Public Schools has a site-based hiring process that allows school leadership, staff and interested community members to participate in the hiring of teachers. Each school identifies their site-based hiring team to screen and interview certificated applicants. 

    All participants must attend joint training sessions provided by Seattle Education Association and Seattle Public Schools. The joint training sessions provide fair employment information and assist teams in developing interview questions and criteria for their hiring process. Training is scheduled at least once a month and a link to the schedule is listed below.
